CAST Terminal and Aircraft Training in Aachen, Germany in November and Dezember 2019
In November and December, CAST Users came to our headquarter in Aachen, Germany, to take part at the CAST Terminal and CAST Aircraft Training Courses. Besides the training it is great to see our user community growing and connecting! At the CAST Basic Trainings, the participants were given an overview and understanding of the capabilities and functionalities of CAST.

25 to 27 November 2019 in Toulouse, France
This years CAST User Conference took place at ENAC in Toulouse, France. Besides customer presentations about CAST based Terminal Planning, Stand Allocation, Capacity Management and several other use-cases, users from all continents enjoyed a fantastic evening in the old town of Toulouse and an impressive visit of the AIRBUS production facilities.

Airport Research Center is pleased to announce the dates for the next CAST Basic Training Courses. The CAST Terminal Training (5 days) and the CAST Aircraft Training (5 days) will be held in our headquarter in Aachen, Germany. The CAST Stand Allocation Training (3 days) will be held in Toulouse, France, right after the CAST User Conference.

Save the date for this year’s CAST User Conference, 25-26 November! This two day event will be a great opportunity to network with other CAST users, share experience, talk about projects, get insights into the latest developments and discuss the future vision of CAST. The CAST User Conference will take place at the ENAC building in Toulouse, in cooperation with DSNA Services, joint venture of DGAC and ENAC.

The participants were given an overview of the capabilities and functionalities of CAST and learned the fundamental modelling and simulation logic of CAST and applying it in simulation studies and allocation tasks. Besides the training it is great to see our user community growing and connecting!

The Passenger Terminal World Magazine published an article about passenger tracking and TeTop (Terminal Traffic and operational planning) passenger flow prediction at Munich Airport. TeTOP is a CAST Express solution designed to improve the passenger experience by identifying bottlenecks, improving passenger flow and assisting with airport resource planning.
