ARC is pleased to announce the dates for the next CAST Basic Training Courses for CAST Terminal, CAST Aircraft, CAST Vehicle, CAST Stand & Gate Allocation and CAST Express. The CAST Basic Trainings will enable the participants to understand the fundamental modelling and simulation logic of CAST and applying it in simulation studies and allocation tasks.

Fast time simulation and automated allocation have become an important methodology for supporting airport planning and optimization of operations. Using a computer model of the airport, selected processes are simulated based on the chronological proceeding of the flights at the airport. By playing through various scenarios, planning options and operational improvements can be evaluated and better decisions can be made.

In November and December, CAST Users came to our headquarter in Aachen, Germany, to take part at the CAST Terminal and CAST Aircraft Training Courses. Besides the training it is great to see our user community growing and connecting! At the CAST Basic Trainings, the participants were given an overview and understanding of the capabilities and functionalities of CAST.

This years CAST User Conference took place at ENAC in Toulouse, France. Besides customer presentations about CAST based Terminal Planning, Stand Allocation, Capacity Management and several other use-cases, users from all continents enjoyed a fantastic evening in the old town of Toulouse and an impressive visit of the AIRBUS production facilities.

Are you passionate about object-oriented software development and aim for a versatile, practice-oriented work in an experienced team and an international work environment? We offer you an interesting and diverse long-term job, flexible time management and individual development opportunities. You will participate in the development and programming of new simulation tools and support the extension of our existing airport simulation software CAST.

Airport Research Center is pleased to announce the dates for the next CAST Basic Training Courses. The CAST Terminal Training (5 days) and the CAST Aircraft Training (5 days) will be held in our headquarter in Aachen, Germany. The CAST Stand Allocation Training (3 days) will be held in Toulouse, France, right after the CAST User Conference.

Save the date for this year’s CAST User Conference, 25-26 November! This two day event will be a great opportunity to network with other CAST users, share experience, talk about projects, get insights into the latest developments and discuss the future vision of CAST. The CAST User Conference will take place at the ENAC building in Toulouse, in cooperation with DSNA Services, joint venture of DGAC and ENAC.

Visit us at our booth #908 to discuss how CAST Airport Software and SOLUTIONS powered by CAST can support you. Next to Live-Demonstrations of the latest features of the CAST Simulation Software, it will be our pleasure to present predictive capacity planning with CAST Stand Allocation and CAST Express for tactical capacity planning of terminal processes.

The training sessions for CAST Aircraft, Terminal and Vehicle were a full success. The participants were given an overview of the capabilities and functionalities of CAST and learned the fundamental modelling and simulation logic of CAST and applying it in simulation studies and allocation tasks. Besides the training it is great to see our user community growing and connecting!

Meet us at the 4th Airport Security & IT Summit in Barcelona! Managing Partner, Raimo Jacobson, speaker of day 2, will give you insights of the implementation of an IT System for increasing operational efficiency.

ARC is taking part at the Dubai Airport Show again! We are looking forward to meet you at our booth 5377 in the German Pavilion. Besides exclusive live demonstrations of CAST Software Products, we will present various use cases and applications of SOLUTIONS powered by CAST.

The Passenger Terminal World Magazine published an article about passenger tracking and TeTop (Terminal Traffic and operational planning) passenger flow prediction at Munich Airport. TeTOP is a CAST Express solution designed to improve the passenger experience by identifying bottlenecks, improving passenger flow and assisting with airport resource planning.

ARC is looking forward to meeting you at Passenger Terminal Expo 2019 in London! ARC will show various use cases from its long years of experience in airport capacity planning and simulation consulting projects. In addition to that, we will demonstrate you our CAST Airport Software Suite, a unique simulation, allocation and optimization environment, covering terminal, airside, ground handling traffic and all corresponding resources, and processes.
