CAST Schedule is a comprehensive and flexible software tool for precise and scalable airport traffic and passenger demand forecasting as well as flight schedule analysis and generation.
The tool combines traditional forecasting methods with machine learning techniques, enabling detailed calculations of future traffic volumes based on individual flight events. It supports short-term (daily), medium-term (monthly/seasonal), and long-term (year and beyond) forecasts for passengers, baggage, and cargo.
CAST Schedule can be used for top-down and bottom-up forecasting, incorporating factors such as future events, regional development potential, and macroeconomic indicators. A guided workflow allows users to develop realistic growth scenarios to support operational, tactical, and strategic planning.
Flight schedules created in CAST Schedule are integrated with other CAST software applications, allowing for consistent and scenario-based analyses across various use cases. The outputs of the tool are designed for clear visualization and can support decision-making and airport development processes.
CAST Schedule is part of the versatile CAST software suite. It can be used as a standalone tool or fully integrated with other CAST solutions, enabling a customized and combined approach tailored to specific requirements. This flexibility allows the optimal solution to be built for any use case. CAST Schedule can be introduced step by step as part of a personalized roadmap, ensuring complete flexibility for the customer at all times. Each step is carefully coordinated together with the customer to guarantee maximum benefit. A quick start is always possible, providing immediate results that serve as a solid foundation for further enhancements.
The initial release is scheduled for October 2025. Some of the features will follow in subsequent releases. After that, the product will be continuously developed, like all CAST products, in a roadmap that is based on technical developments and the requirements of customers and users. There will be major releases every year.
